The Desert Iguana

This reptile is native to the Sonoran and Mojave deserts and is found in the sandy desert regions living among the rock and creosote bush. They seem most active during the heat of the day. Most of these pictures were taken with a 400mm lens and a digital SLR.
























These shots were taken out among the creosote bush, palo Verde and cactus. A 300mm lens was used and ISO 100 and ISO 200 in the shade.
